Posted:

The Naples dining scene is another nuance of what makes like in Southwest Florida so lovable. Over the years, our community has achieved recognition that includes ranking as one of America’s Best Towns for Foodies. With respect to al fresco dining, the online restaurant review and reservation enterprise known as Open Table has ranked America’s best outdoor dining destinations, and be assured, players among Naples dining scene figure more prominently than those within any other community of America. Yet, a new report is revealing another flavorful aspect of the Naples dining scene which will particularly resonate with wine lovers. Wine Spectator Magazine has announced winners of its 2018 Restaurant Awards. This is an annual, international competition which heralds restaurants which have the best wine lists. This years, more than two dozen restaurants in Collier County achieved recognition with the bulk of these being esteemed fixtures among the Naples dining scene. The competition involves a juried panel assessing aspects such as quality of wine producer, menu pairings, price, service and other metrics.

For the fourth consecutive year, Bleu Provence, a Naples restaurant specializing in French & Mediterranean fare, captured the coveted Grand Award, the highest honor bestowed by Wine Spectator. naples dining scene
